We are thrilled to announce a fresh reward initiative, provisionally named "Your Game, Your Choice" (final title pending). This system allows players to concentrate on their preferred game modes while accumulating essential rewards to enhance their gaming journey.

Here's the plan: Rewards from various game modes will be aggregated over a week of gameplay, and their overall value will be boosted. This means you'll receive a consistent stream of upgrade resources throughout the season.

Every week, active participants will have the chance to earn 1 S-level soul sigil and 20 hero-exclusive temporal essences, or rewards of similar worth. Stay tuned for its launch with version 1.3.2, the second update of the season!

Enhancements in Clashfronts Mode

We are currently refining the Clashfronts mode, with significant improvements planned for the Chains of Eternity season. Expect several upgrades that will enhance the core gameplay, hero deployment, and overall battle experience.

Key adjustments will include balanced reward systems and clearer promotion/demotion guidelines, along with greater diversity in real-time battle dynamics.

Our aim is to create an immersive environment for players who enjoy guild modes, providing clear objectives and strong incentives to engage in combat. Increasing Charm Essence Opportunities

In our previous designer discussion, we indicated forthcoming enhancements for Dura’s trials. Building upon those updates, we are pleased to report an increase in charm essence yield for the new season, alongside the introduction of nightmare trials.

Completing these nightmare trials will significantly enhance your charm essence rewards when sweeping through trial stages.

This new challenge is designed to offer a stronger sense of achievement as you gather more resources.

Business Simulation Mode Since the launch of AFK Journey, we've received numerous suggestions regarding a business simulation mode.

We are thrilled to share that we are investing additional resources into this feature, with the initial version set to release around mid-year.

In terms of reward enhancements and adjustments to paragon tiers, we've always faced the challenge of catering to players with diverse spending habits.

This upcoming season will introduce substantial reward increases for all players through our new "Your Game, Your Choice" system and other features in version 1.3.2.

Our goal is to keep players motivated and engaged in their hero progressions.

Specifically, the "Your Game, Your Choice" system will merge weekly rewards from both honor duel and arena, significantly elevating them.

Additionally, hero-exclusive temporal essences will be available in the dream store starting this new season, refreshing daily.

After careful deliberation, we will implement the following changes to rivalry stats in the first update of the new season (version 1.3.1):

We will introduce two new rivalry stats: “Intimidation” and “Inspiration” for supreme+ celestial and hypogean heroes, along with paragon heroes from other factions.

Players will have the opportunity to enhance the rivalry stats for celestial and hypogean heroes once they reach supreme+ status.

However, the augmented stats for celestial and hypogean heroes upgraded to paragon +4 will match the levels of paragon +4 heroes from other factions.

Please note that rivalry stat bonuses are exclusive to PvP battles, including arena and supreme arena, and will not impact PvE modes or ranking, such as dream realm, ravaged realm, AFK stages, and Dura’s trials.

For further clarification:

The rivalry stats assigned by paragon tiers do not uniformly benefit all heroes.

For example, heroes like Damian and Smokey & Meerky gain little from these enhancements, resulting in a disparity between the difficulty of advancing their paragon tier and the benefits accrued.

To rectify this, we are introducing the two new stats, Inspiration and Intimidation, which will allow support heroes to gain more from rivalry stat increases at elevated paragon levels.Progression for heroes belonging to the celestial and hypogean factions presents unique challenges due to their increased resource requirements. With the addition of the new inspiration and intimidation metrics, disparities between tiers in competitive settings such as the arena will become even more significant. To promote fairer competition, we will be modifying the rivalry stats associated with celestial and hypogean heroes, ensuring that those facing similar progression hurdles can compete on a more level playing field.

In response to community feedback regarding the length of the off-season and the four-month season duration, we have formulated a plan to enhance the overall experience:

We are reducing the minimum server open period, known as the starter story phase, from 40 to 35 days to qualify for the ongoing season. Moving forward, each season will be divided into three interlinked segments, each lasting 35 days, accompanied by a preseason phase, all fitting within the four-month framework. While this may resemble the existing structure, each segment will present more engaging content and progressive objectives to keep players invested and motivated throughout the season.

This new format will be trialed in the upcoming season, with further optimizations planned for the subsequent second and third seasons of the year. We will provide more information as the seasons evolve, so stay connected!
